08 Aug The contribution of the entertainment industry to Imo State’s economic and social growth cannot be underestimated.
Having been identified as a sector largely dominated by the youths, we have continued to improve on developing the sector in order to offer greater career opportunities for Imo Youths while attracting investors into the State.
Today, I had the pleasure of receiving the Best of Nollywood (BON) Executives on a courtesy visit to express their desire in hosting the 2022 Edition of National BON Awards in Imo State.
This has been possible as a result of the impressive measures we have implemented towards the growth of the industry vis-a-vis security, transparency in governance and conducive atmosphere.
As delighted as we are in hosting this year’s National BON Awards, I have assured them of the State’s support towards the success of the program even as we anticipate massive winnings by Imo Entertainers.
